Bronze medallist at last year’s Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships, Kerwin Clarke was presented with his airfare to compete in this year’s edition from owner of Fitness Express, Jaime McDonald yesterday.
This year’s 41st annual championships will be held in the
Dominican Republic from September 18 to 24.
The reigning Mr. Guyana will be competing in the welterweight division (155-164 pounds), the same category he posed and flexed his chiseled physique in to earn the bronze medal last year in Puerto Rico.
Meanwhile current Ms. Guyana, Alisha Fortune, also received support yesterday.
Fortune was presented with a cheque by Vibert Gordon, a representative of DeSinco Trading to aid towards her airfare.
The sculpted Fortune will compete in the Ms. Body Fitness Open category.
Clarke and Fortune are scheduled to wing out next Wednesday.
