The Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) has extended congratulations
to national U15 player Ronaldo Ali Mohamed for his outstanding performances in the recent West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) regional U-15 tournament in Jamaica and says that it will reward the young player later this year.
Mohamed, who was the team’s vice captain, was adjudged the best bowler and most valuable player of the tournament. He also copped the most outstanding cricketer award at the recent WICB Sandals Foundation U15 camp held in Antigua.
According to a press release from the club, for his performances, Mohamed will be the recipient of an award at the club’s annual award ceremony to be held on November 16.
The club also took the opportunity to congratulate top order batsman Leon Johnson for his selection on the West Indies ‘A’ side that is currently touring India and opener Robin Bacchus for making his Guyana senior team debut.
