Police today said that Addisena Benjamin, 24, called “Yai” is wanted by the police for questioning in relation to the murder of Junior Joseph and the attempted murder of Lovern Williams which occurred on May 21, 2012.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Addisena Benjamin called “Yai” is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 225-2227, 226-1333, 225-2722, 911 or the nearest police station.
All information will be treated with strict confidence. His last known address is Oronoque, Port Kaituma.
Williams was severely maimed in the attack which led to a long period of hospitalization. Questions have been raised as to why it took the police so long to issue a bulletin.
