Rastafari Patriarchs crushed Santos Masters by a 3-0 score line when action in the Rastafari Patriarchs Masters football tourney continued at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC), ground Bourda on Sunday.
Keith Blair led the victors with a double while Quacey Price completed the score line with a solitary strike. In the second slated fixture of the triple header, Linden Masters defeated Santos Masters 1-0 through a Gavin Greenidge strike.
In the final fixture of the day, Linden Masters and GFC Masters played to a 0-0 draw. On Saturday at the same venue, GFC Masters and Rastafari Patriarchs played to a nil-all draw in the lone matchup.
The tournament which will be played utilizing a league format will feature 12 teams competing for the King of Kings Jewellery Trophy.
Group A will feature Buxton, GFC, Wales, Twilight, Western Tigers and Santos. Group B will consist of Brazimix, Rastafari Patriarchs, Pele, Houston All-Stars, East Coast United and Thomas United. The duration of each match will be approximately 60 minutes.
