Scotiabank is celebrating 45 years of service in Guyana with a roster of activities including a radio quiz on Scotiabank Money Minute which will be aired weekdays starting Monday.
The quiz will be aired on 98.1 Hot FM. This and other customer appreciation events will be held during the week of September 23, the bank said in a press release. It also hosted a jingle competition for employees, which was won by the Carmichael Street branch, with the Credit Risk and Collections Departments placing second. The winning jingle will be aired during the month and the prizes will be used for a charitable project under Scotiabank’s Bright Future Global Philanthropic Programme. “We have achieved another great milestone – thanks to our loyal customers and employees who are committed to helping our customers become financially better off,” Country Manager Amanda St Aubyn said. “While we are happy to celebrate our great achievements in Guyana over the past 45 years, we are also excited about what the future holds for us, as the bank continues to invest resources to better meet the needs of our customers,” she said.
