At about 13:05h today, police say that Abdalla Hamilton, 29 years, of Section “K” Campbellville, Georgetown, was sitting in a motor vehicle that was parked on Charlotte Street, Georgetown, when he was held up by a man armed with a handgun.
Police say that the perpetrator shot Hamilton to his left thigh and took away a bag with $2 million. He fled on a motor cycle ridden by an accomplice.
Hamilton has been admitted to a private hospital for medical treatment.
