Contract cleared for 3.5m male condoms

Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr Roger Luncheon yesterday disclosed that several contracts have been cleared by Cabinet including one for $27m for 3.5m male condoms and US$127,950 for textbooks.
A release from the Government Information Agency yesterday listed the textbook as copies of Comprehensive English Course, CXC A, new revised edition.
Other contracts included $199m for the supply of fuel and lubricants to the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) for the period September 2013 to January 2014.
For the dental programme, US$162,000 has been cleared.
