The Environmental Community and Health Organisation (Echo) is collaborating with Cevon’s Waste Management on a waste oil recycling initiative to reduce the incidence of waste oil dumping into the natural environment.
Waste oil dumped into the natural environment affects the ecosystem, which in turn has serious implications for public health, the group said in a press release.
Through the initiative, receptacles for disposing of waste oil will be given freely to the public.
