MYSORE, India, CMC-A half century from Assad Fudadin ensured West Indies A remained in control against India A on the second day of their unofficial four-day test match yesterday.

Fudadin scored a patient unbeaten 86 to take West Indies A to 429 from their overnight total of 264 for five.

At stumps, India A were 124 for three and trailing the visitors by 305 runs.

West Indies lost Chadwick Walton for 35 to Ishwar Pandey but Fudadin and Nikita Miller deprived the Indians of making further inroads with a seventh wicket partnership that produced 88 runs.

Miller struck five boundaries during his 49 before being run-out.

Offspinner Parvez Rasool took the final three wickets for his fourth five-wicket haul in first-class cricket and finished with 5 for 116.

Veerasammy Permaul  struck first for West Indies A  to have Jiwanjot Singh caught behind for 16 to end  a 45 run opening stand.

Miguel Cummins picked up the wicket of captain Cheteshwar Pujara cheaply before Lokesh Rahul fell to Nikita Miller 46.
