Dear Editor,
I would appreciate it if you could draw attention to the burning of garbage by individuals and businesses in Guyana and the negative effects on the health of the population and the environment.
In my case, my family and I along with others in the area suffer every night as a shop on Aubrey Barker Road, South Ruimveldt, just east of the GT&T substation, burns it garbage in complete disregard for the citizens who live nearby.
