JAIPUR, India, CMC-Trinidad and Tobago’s all-rounder Kevin Cooper grabbed a couple wickets as his Rajasthan Royals beat Otago by four wickets to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League T20 here yesterday.
Cooper finished with two for 33 runs from his four overs to help restrict Otago to a middling 139 runs for seven at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
He was also unbeaten on 8 runs hitting two fours from his eight balls faced.
Royals recovered from a middle order collapse after an electric 52 from Brad Hodge steadied the ship and guided his side to victory with five balls to spare.
The win extended the Royals’ impressive home record to 12 matches and also earns them the right to play their semi-final match at home.
