Almost a year after he pleaded guilty to mortgage fraud conspiracy in New York, Guyanese businessman Ed Ahmad made a court appearance to have his bond arrangement modified.
Court records show that Ahmad, who faces over 10 years in jail and making US$15 million in restitution and fines, appeared before Magistrate Judge Ramon E Reyes Jr on September 24 and the hearing saw four properties being removed from his bond and one surety being added.
