The West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) Stag Beer Senior League continues today with a double header at the Den Amstel Community Centre ground.
In the feature contest at 16:00hrs, Vergenoegen giants Slingerz FC will tackle the always capable Uitvlugt Warriors in what promises to be an entertaining encounter.
Possessing a lineup littered with talented individuals such as Vurlon Mills, Clive Nobrega, Tichard Joseph and Joshua Browne, Slingerz will attempt to make light work of a young Uitvlugt unit led by the duo of Jamaal Harvey and Jamal Petit.
The opening fixture at 14:00hrs will see home side Den Amstel led by the trio of Delon Lanferman, Jeffrey Perreira and O’Neil Heywood facing off with Stewartville FC and their quartet of Owen McGarrell, Bruce Smith, Kester David and Donald Bobb.
