The Guyana Energy Agency and other stakeholders recently participated in an ECLAC training workshop on energy efficiency and renewable energies.
The three-day workshop, titled ‘Innovative and Regulatory Incentives for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Initiatives’, was conducted by the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) with support from the German Agency for International Cooperation. With representatives from Curacao, Grenada, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana, the workshop, which closed on October 16, was part of an overarching sustainable energy
