The body of the 13-year-old girl who jumped off a boat she was travelling in on the Berbice River has been recovered.
Police identified the child as Tinesha La Rose of St Lust, Berbice River.
A release yesterday said that the body was recovered on Friday, one day after the incident.
This newspaper has been unable to make contact with her relatives.
