MIAMI, Florida – Members of the West Indies team had a once-in-a-lifetime experience when they got front court seats to see the Miami Heat play basketball. The event was the final aspect of the Elite Team Tour of Orlando and Miami. The game between the Heat and the visiting Brooklyn Nets was the final warm-up game of the NBA pre-season. The Windies players and team management were also taken on a tour of the American Airlines Arena by the legendary Alonzo Mourning, a former player with the Miami Heat and USA Dream team.
During the evening the Windies also met members of the Miami Heat front office staff. One of the highlights was the chance to take photos with the NBA Champions Trophy which the Heat won in the 2012-2013 NBA Season.
