Cabinet Secretary Dr Roger Luncheon announced that cabinet has given no objections to six contracts, including one valued US$80,000 for services linked to the development of terminals at the country’s ports of entry.
No objections were offered for the contract in the tourism sector for the procurement of consultancy services for the conduct of a feasibility study on cruise tourism and terminal development at the country’s ports of entry, a report from the Government Information Agency (GINA) said.
Also receiving no objections were a contract valued $170.6M for the construction of 81 core homes in regions Three, Four, Six and Ten; two contacts valued $105.1M and $65.5M for the rehabilitation and construction of miscellaneous structures in Region Five (From Esau and Jacob to Mora Point) and the rehabilitation of sections of the main access roads in regions Two and Three; a contract valued $168.5M for the provision of security services for the Ministry of Education in 16 lots; and a contract valued $22.9M for the supply and installation of a generator for the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
