Cellink consumers on the West Coast Berbice will now enjoy strengthened cellular coverage as a result of the activation of a new GT&T cell site at Bush Lot, the company has announced.
According to a press release from GT&T, the new cell site will enhance coverage between the sites at Cottage and Bath and provide continuous mobile voice and data services along that corridor.
The Bush Lot Site is the third one for this year, with Aranaputa Valley in Region Nine being commissioned in June and Kurupukari in Region Eight becoming operational in August.
GT&T has enhanced more than 100 cellular sites in the ten administrative regions since the launch of its GSM service in 2004 and continues to provide services to the public such as landline, mobile, and data services. Works are in progress on another cellular site in the Berbice area, the release said.
