Former West Indies leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo and Berbice Under-17 all-rounder Balchand Baldeo weaved their magic with the ball in guiding Albion Community Centre to the semi-finals of the 2013 Namilco/Bakewell first division T20 competition in Berbice with a nine-wicket win over Police.
Playing at the Albion Community Development Centre ground, Police won the toss and batted slipping to a paltry 56 all out in 16.2 overs with only Philbert Wilburg mustering 17.
Bishoo snared an impressive 4 for 5 while Baldeo grabbed 3 for 21.
In reply, Albion Community Centre raced to 57 for 1 in 13.4 overs thanks to Baldeo who returned to score an unbeaten 40.
Also advancing to the semi-finals were West Berbice and Universal Solutions Bermine who successfully won their respective encounters. West Berbice were restricted to 123 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs against Young Warriors Universal DVD.
