The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 2350h. last night on the Prospect Public Road, EBD, and which resulted in the death of motor cyclist Roy Harrilall, 64 years, of Section ‘E’, Golden Grove, EBD.
Investigations have revealed that the driver of motor car PDD 7385 was proceeding north along the roadway and the motor cyclist was proceeding behind, when he overtook the car and collided with the front of the vehicle, police said.
Harrilall was taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre from where he was transferred to the GPHC. He was pronounced DOA at the GPHC.

Meanwhile, the police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 0445h. today on the JB Singh Road, Georgetown, and which resulted in the death of pedestrian Bholan Boodhoo, 65 years, of Third Street, Alberttown.
Investigations, police say, have revealed that the driver of mini bus BGG 4671 was proceeding north along the roadway allegedly at a fast rate when Boodhoo is reported to have attempted to cross the road and was struck down. Bibi Baksh, 55 years, of Stanley Place, Kitty, who was also crossing the road was also hit by the vehicle.
They were taken to the GPHC where Boodhoo was pronounced DOA and Baksh admitted.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations
