Henrietta United led by a Chris Gordon helmet trick crushed Devonshire Castle 6-0 when action in the Interim Management Committee of the Essequibo/Pomeroon Football Association’s (EPFA) Premier League continued at the NOC ground on Sunday.
Contested at the Devonshire Castle ground, Gordon would open the scoring with a seventh minute strike. He would double his tally as he found the back of the net in the 16th minute. The hat-trick was quickly completed when he netted three minutes later.
It would soon be 4-0 as Gordon sealed his first half helmet trick with a 27th minute strike. The lopsided encounter would continue in the second period as Godfrey Marks etched his name on the scorer’s sheet with a 50th minute conversion and the result would be completed four minutes before the end of regulation time when Carlos Chesney scored.
