Philbert London on Saturday won the Wartsila sponsored golf tournament held at the Lusignan Golf Club.
According to a press release, London, playing off a 28 handicap, shot a gross 92, for a net score of 64.
Second was Avinash Persaud who shot a gross 70, parring the course for a net 66 while Robert Hanoman who scored a gross 92 and ended on a net 68 (24 handicap) was third.
Persaud chose to take the net prize for second place so Jaipaul Seenanan was awarded the Best Gross Prize with a 75 winning on a count back from the 75 of Munaf Arjune who also won for Nearest to the Pin.
Best lady was Christine Sookram with a gross 80 (9) net 71.
Club President Jerome Khan thanked Wartsila for its sponsorship of the tournament which also included a barbeque and a generous happy hour that was greatly appreciated by the members.
