The 79th edition of Georgetown Mayor Hamilton Green’s birthday anniversary seven-a-side Inter-Ward/Village knockout football tournament is set to continue tomorrow at the Tucville Community ground with seven fixtures.
In the opening game at 19:00hrs, Sara Lodge will face off with Wales while Crane will battle South Sophia from 19:30hrs. Pouderoyen will lock horns with Berlin at 20:00hrs while Uitvlugt will engage Newtown Kitty from 20:30hrs.
At 21:00hrs North Sophia will tackle Bent Street while North East La Penitence will challenge Leopold Street from 21:30hrs. In the final fixture at 10:00hrs, the Vurlon Mills led Meadowbrook will face off with Kitty. The final competing side Den Amstel has drawn a bye to the next round.
The tournament winner will receive $100,000 and hampers from Ricks and Sari Agro Industries while the runners-up will pocket $50,000.
