secretary and Eustace Harcourt and Roxanne Keith, treasurer and assistant secretary/ treasurer respectively. The elected committee members are Sharon Brown, Dirk Exeter and Marvin Goodman.

At the meeting held at the Supply Chain Manag-ement Systems office in High Street, members passed a motion to amend the club’s constitution. With the new amendment the immediate past president will automatically become a member of the executive and the club captain and the technical director respectively will no longer be elected positions but will now be appointed by the executive.

The new executive has vowed to return the club to its glory days as the dominant national contender in football. In his first address as club president Yates said he wanted to see the players transcend the game and that his plan is to ensure that they were not only fully prepared for every game but that they were prepared for life after football.

As such, discipline will be the foundation of his programme both on and off the field.

Several Pele club members, both past and current, attended the meeting.
