A man was rushed to the Georgetown Hospital last evening after he was shot several times following an alleged altercation with police at the metal bridge Liliendaal.
Up to press time Lloyd Johnson, also known as “Belly,” of Lot 2 Sophia, was nursing five gunshot wounds – two to the arm and three to the left side of his torso.
The incident is said to have taken place at around 20:00 hrs.
