(Jamaica Gleaner) The Linstead Police in St Catherine are investigating the circumstances under which an elderly woman and her son were killed on Wednesday night.
The police say 80-year-old Marcine Williams and 53-year-old son Morris were bound, gagged and stabbed to death at their home on King Street in Linstead, St Catherine.
Their bodies were found about 1:20 a.m. when a relative went home and found a grille opened.
The relative went upstairs and found the elderly woman and her son covered in blood.
They had been stabbed all over their bodies.
The hands and feet were bound with duct tape and mouths gagged.
Investigators say there were no signs of forced entry to the house.
