Harris Paints, one of the leading paint manufacturers in the Caribbean, opened a new, modern retail outlet in Rosignol, Berbice last week.
A press release from the company quoted Harris Group of Companies Chief Executive Officer Ian Kenyon as saying that the new store was opened in response to the growing demand in the Berbice area for Harris Paints’ range of quality products.
The CEO said, “Our performance in this market has been quite remarkable, and as such, we took the decision to expand our operations. As ‘Caribbean Champions of Colour,’ we wanted to ensure all of our services were made available to the people of Guyana, bringing on even more staff, and bringing our products and services to even more people.”
Rosignol now has the third full-service, industry-leading outlet opened by Harris Paints in Guyana, providing colour advice, product recommendation and technical service.
The new Harris Colourcentre outlet features a vast array of products, from primers to decorative paint, textured finishes and accessories in addition to the contemporary, customer-friendly systems and colour tools launched by Harris Paints.
According to Neil Boucher, General Manager of Harris Paints Guyana, the company was impressed with the loyalty and support of the Berbice customers at their other stores so to say ‘thank you,’ for the opening week, Harris Paints Rosignol Colourcentre offered a 10 percent store wide discount.
