David Dewar, Russell Lancaster, Gem Rohlehr-Vogt and the Georgetown Chamber Chorus were among the performers last Thursday when Moray House Trust hosted an evening of Guyanese and Christmas music.
According to a press release from Moray House, this was the Trust’s second annual Christmas concert. Other well-known performers included Mica Gaard and Chie Clarke and accompaniment by Marilyn Dewar and Marcello Basani. The artistes performed voice recitals with piano and violin accompaniments to a packed house. Audience members sang along to many of the songs and were vocal in their enjoyment.
Among the audience were secondary school students from Bishops, St Rose’s, Richard Ishmael and girls from the St Ann’s home who were specially invited, the release said.
