The Neal and Massy Guyana Group hosted its Annual Christmas parties for children residing in Ruimveldt and the lower East Bank Demerara over the weekend, a release from the group said.
Three hundred and fifty children from Yarrow Dam, Alexander Village, Riverview, West Ruimveldt, Bagotstown, Houston, Agricola and Eccles attended the parties held at Eccles Primary School and Neal and Massy Staff Facilities at Ruimveldt.
“The children look forward to these parties every year and they had an enjoyable time with the usual goodies as well as Santa Claus, Dora and Sponge Bob,” Fazieka Singh, Human Resources Coordinator of Associated Industries Limited (AINLIM) said.
Employees of Demerara Oxygen Company (DOCOL) coordinated the party at Eccles Primary School, while the gathering at the Neal and Massy Staff Facility was hosted by employees of AINLIM, Geddes Grant, CCS, NMSS and NMSL.
Deo Persaud, Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Shameer Hoosein, CEO of DOCOL joined Santa Claus, Dora and Sponge Bob in entertaining the children.
