(Trinidad Express) Jah David Andrews, who allegedly took over the reins of the infamous G-Unit gang following the murder of Kerwin “Fresh” Phillip in 2007, has been killed.
The Police Service is now bracing itself for bloody reprisals as a result of Andrews’ killing.
According to police reports, around 9.35 p.m. on Monday, Andrews, 37, was standing near the NP Service Station on Charlotte Street in Port of Spain, which is currently under construction, when he was shot down in a drive-by.
“Rapid and loud explosions” were heard.
Investigators believe semi-automatic weapons were used in the shooting.
Andrews was rushed to the Port of Spain General Hospital which is across the street from the gas station.
He was pronounced dead on arrival.
