(Jamaica Gleaner) A 13-year-old boy is now dead and a 14-year-old is in police custody following an altercation in the parish of Trelawny last evening.
It is believed that the altercation developed after the slain teen stepped on the suspect’s toes.
The police have identified the slain teen as Jevaughnie Gordon, who is from Clarke’s Town in the parish.
It is reported that shortly before 8 o’clock the two boys were playing a game of pool in the community of Bottom Town when an argument developed after Gordon reportedly stepped on the suspect’s toes.
The Clarke’s Town Police reports that during the altercation a knife was used to stab Gordon in the chest. He was rushed to the Falmouth Hospital where he was pronounced dead
