The police are in the process of sending a file on the investigations surrounding the death of Marcia Adams to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), according to Crime Chief Seelall Persaud.
Persaud said too that the suspect in the killing remains in police custody.
Reports are that on January 3, the 21-year-old mother of two of Paradise, East Coast Demerara (ECD) was stabbed to death following an argument allegedly with her reputed husband. She was said to have suffered multiple stab and chop wounds to her body.
The suspect later turned himself in.
