Police yesterday issued a wanted bulletin in relation to the murder of Titus Sutton who was killed at Baracara, Canje Creek, Berbice on November 8, last.
The wanted man has been identified as Leon De Yonge. No address has been given. He is medium built and of African descent according to a police release.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Leon De Yonge is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 226-6978, 333-2151 to 2154, 333-2191, 911 or the nearest police station.
Sutton, also known as ‘Frankie,’ 53, of Melanie Damishana, East Coast Demerara, was shot once to his chest. His business partner, Sherwin McAlmont, also known as ‘Shirt’, 34, also of Melanie Damishana, was
shot and wounded to his right thigh. In a press release, police had said that Sutton was involved in an argument with another man who allegedly shot him to his chest with a shotgun.
