The governments of Guyana and the UK yesterday signed an agreement to enhance cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking.
According to a GINA press release, the agreement will facilitate the deepening of ties between the law enforcement agencies of both countries, and provide for significant technical assistance and training to be extended to Guyanese law enforcement personnel by the administration of the UK.
