Local Government and Regional Development Minister Ganga Persaud on Friday announced that the government has received six expressions of interest from companies to build Guyana’s first solid waste recycling plant.
The expressions of interest, Persaud said at a press conference at the Local Government Minis-try in Kingston, are under evaluation and the public would be informed of the decisions. He added that there is no pressure on evaluators.
