Food for the Poor donates medical supplies to four hospitals

Chief Medical Officer Shamdeo Persaud (left) accepts the donation of medical equipment and OTC medication from CEO of Food for the Poor (Guyana) Inc. Kent Vincent. Behind Persaud are Nadia Coleman, representative from West Demerara Regional Hospital and Allison Christopher, Matron of the Linden Hospital Complex while behind Vincent stands another representative from the Linden Hospital Complex, Donella Drakes.
Four hospitals around Guyana are now the beneficiaries of a quantity of medical equipment and over the counter medication following donations from local organisation, Food for the Poor (Guyana) Inc.
During a simple ceremony, recipients from the various hospitals voiced their appreciation of the items and promised proper utilization of them.
