The Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) will kick off their 2014 activities with a teams league tournament which is expected to get underway early next month at a venue to be decided.
According to a press release from the GTTA, the tournament will be held
in Georgetown, Berbice, Linden and Bartica and will end in April.
The deadline for entering the tournament is January 29.
The league will be played in three categories namely A B and C divisions and teams are required to pay an entrance fee of $2000 per team.
A team must consist of three (3) players in each division and a team can enter no more than two (2) teams in each division.
Trophies and monetary incentives are at stake for the first, second and third place teams in each category.
The draw will take place on January 29 from 5pm at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
