Troy Hope, who was beaten with an iron bar and stabbed to the neck on Monday night in what he claims is a case of mistaken identity, is presently a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) and is expected to be released shortly.
Speaking with Stabroek News, Hope, 48, of 98 Ogle Street, Triumph, East Coast Demerara, said that he received seven stitches to the wound on his neck and though he still has internal abdominal bleeding he isn’t in much pain and discomfort.
He said that at the time of the attack, he was at
