Dear Editor,
I was pleasantly surprised when I visited GRA in Camp Street to find that services are still being rendered to the public during the luncheon interval. I believe that those who manage the operations of GRA really are thinking of pleasing the public. Thank you GRA.
I had parked my vehicle some distance away waiting for 1pm to arrive. It was 12.30 and I decided to linger by the the guard hut. Reaching there I noticed people entering the building and I followed suit. It took me about ten minutes to purchase my licence. I would like to commend the staff of GRA and would urge other state entities to follow its example.
Government agencies, etc, should not lock out the public so that staff can play cards and dominoes for one hour. They should put systems in place where the public can be facilitated at all times during the working day. Less productive time would be lost when people can get things attended to during the lunch period and they can return to work, etc, and be productive.
Yours faithfully,
