Reigning Soca Monarch Jumo Primo has released his new single “The Road Again” and will be dropping the music video this weekend.
The single is produced by Grenadian producer Mr Roots, Jumo said and is an inspiration for all Guyanese to express themselves on the road during Mashramani this year.
“It’s all about forgetting what people think about you and expressing yourself on the road for Mash,” the singer said.
“The Road Again” is from Jumo’s new album ‘The Road to T&T,’ which celebrates the fact that he has been selected for the semi-finals of the Trinidad Soca Monarch Competition set for next month.
Jumo is asking Guyanese to support him and vote for him in the competition.
In addition, the Soca Monarch will defend his title at the 2014 Carib Soca Monarch Competition also scheduled for next month.
