This duo, Mekyla Belgrave and Angelica Bassoo from the Resource Unit for the Blind and Visually Impaired won first place in the Calypso competition (5 – 7 years) with the song, “I Can” The Children’s Mashramani Competition began yesterday at the National Cultural Centre with Dramatic Poetry and Calypso categories being contested.
