Abiola Jacobs called `Abby’ appeared in court this morning charged with the murder of Agricola resident Donna Taylor.
Jacobs, a Guyana Defence Force private was unrepresented during the proceedings before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry. She is to return to court on February 26.
Jacobs is accused of killing the 55-year-old woman who is the mother of her ex-boyfriend late Friday night. Taylor of Lot 1617 Public Road, Agricola was found dead by her husband with her throat slit and her hands tied behind her back in her yard. A visiting house guest, British national Samantha Sabat, suffered a broken arm and head injuries after jumping from the veranda as she fled the killers.
Jacobs was arrested the following day.
