A city court refused bail to a North La Penitence man yesterday after hearing that he took the police to his home to reveal an unlicensed pistol and matching ammunition.
Twenty-five-year-old Keon Kelvin, however, denied the charges that he had a 9mm pistol and five rounds of matching ammunition without a licence in his possession.
According to Prosecutor Michael Grant, on February 7, at East La Penitence, the police went to Kelvin, acting on information received by them. The officers informed him of an allegation against him about an unlicensed firearm, Grant said, adding that Kelvin then took them to his home,
