The nation’s best golfers will transform the Lusignan Golf Course into their battleground when the 2014 Heineken Cup tees off on Saturday.
In excess of 50 golfers are scheduled to compete in the tournament which will be the first major golf event sponsored by Heineken.
Heineken will be looking to set the bar high as the sponsors Ansa McAL will award special prizes and branded golf premiums for the top finishers with the best net scores, the golfer with the longest drive and nearest to the pin as well as the best gross.
The tournament promises to be one with a difference and ANSA McAL is encouraging the residents of the community to come out and enjoy an exciting afternoon.
Following the event, the presentation ceremony will be held at 15:00hrs and shortly after there will be music and interactive golf games that will give persons the opportunity to participate in this exciting game. Players who are not yet registered can do so by tomorrow by contacting the golf club on telephone number 220-5660 to register.
Tee off is scheduled for 11:00am.
