The Demerara Bank Limited is set to have a new corporate head office by the end of 2014, or by early 2015.
The building is being constructed at Lot 214 Camp Street Georgetown, between Lamaha and New Market streets at an estimated cost of between $900 million and $1 billion. According to the information released to this publication, through the bank’s Branch Liaison Officer Amrita Henriques, the current head office will be used as a branch to carry out all banking activities.
