Narayan Ramdhani won the U19 and U17 boys’ singles titles when the National Sports Commission annual Mashramani age group tournament concluded last weekend at the Queen’s College badminton courts.
In both divisions the losing finalist was Jonathan Mangra.
In the U19 final Ramdhani won 21-14, 21-11 while the scorers were reversed in the U17 final with Ramdhani winning 21-11, 21-14.
Ramdhani’s sister Priyanna was a three category winner winning the U13, U15 and U17 divisions.
In the U17 final she defeated Ambika Ramraj 21-5, 21-11 and Abosaide Cadogan in the girls’ U15 and U13 finals.
In the U15 finals Priyanna Ramdhani won 21-8, 21-3 while in the U13 final she won 21-4, 21-4.

Under-11 boys singles final: Elan Rahaman defeated Vikash Mootoo: 21-6, 21-8.
Under-11 girls singles final: Sarah Samad defeated Jayde DaSilva: 21-4.
Under-13 boys singles final: Elan Rahaman defeated Tyreese Richards: 21-15.
Under-15 boys singles final: Hemraj Beharry defeated Joshua Singh: 21-6, 21-8.
The presentation to the first three finishers will take place on Friday.
