Residents of Upper Corentyne can look forward to free consultations as well as prescription and non-prescription medications when the Guyana International Relief Organisation (GIRO) hosts a medical outreach on Sunday, March 2.
The outreach would be held at the old bus terminal in Crabwood Creek and commences from 9 am and is expected to conclude at 3 pm.
According to a release from GIRO, the “massive” event was organized in collaboration with the Guyana Chest Society and the Ministry of Health.
It will be undertaken by doctors and other qualified medical personnel and persons are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
The release said too that a blood donation drive was arranged for the same day so residents can have a chance to help to save lives. There would also be a clothing distribution exercise for less fortunate persons.
