A city man is now a patient in the High Dependency Unit (HDU) of the Georgetown Public Hospital, after he was shot in the back after an attempted robbery.
Brian Greenidge, 21, had left his 67 Croal Street home around 9pm to head to the Bourda Market to buy some mosquito coil, his wife, who asked not to be named, said. However, he was intercepted by three men on Regent Street. They asked him what he had on him. After being informed by Greenidge that he only had $500 and a “cheap phone,” the men told him to run away. However, as he attempted to do so, Greenidge was shot once to the back,
