PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC- Former West Indies Women cricketer Amanda Samaroo slammed an unbeaten century to ensure defending champions Moosai Sports maintain their one hundred percent record in Trinidad and Tobago’s Premier Division 40 overs competition.
Samaroo, an allrounder, blasted 156 and picked up two wickets to lead Moosai Sports to a 120 run win over Technocrats in their fifth round match over the weekend.
She hit 17 fours and three sixes and faced 128 balls to take her team to 281 for four after 40 overs then helped in restricting Technocrats to 161 for six.
Samaroo was recalled in 2012 to represent the regional women’s side and played alongside the likes of Captain Merissa Aguilleira, Stafanie Taylor, Shanel Daley and Deandra Dottin.
