The Nigerian Students’ Association yesterday donated a number of items to the Drop-In Centre on Hadfield Street, including clothing, food items and sanitary supplies. According to the President of the Association Samuel Obiegbusi, the children in the home still stood a fighting chance at a good life despite their present circumstances. “God has kept you alive for a purpose,” he said. The Drop-In Centre houses children up to 18 years old with varying situations. The association comprises of a number of Nigerian students from different universities such as the Texila American University and the University of Guyana.
